Rachel de Luca, a bestselling self‑help author, has long trusted the power of positive thinking. Her own blindness and the disappearance of her troubled brother, Daniel, push her to doubt that "you can think your way out of anything." When a corneal transplant restores her sight, Rachel is thrust into a world of clarity that feels almost too good to be true. The new vision quickly turns sinister: she sees detailed, terrifying images of brutal murders that come to life in real time. Detective Mason Brown, who has lost his own brother to a mysterious death, harbors a secret: he donated his brother’s organs, yet he has never disclosed this. When his brother’s material persists in gripping Rachel’s visions, Mason realizes that the crimes are linked to his late brother’s past. Together they must navigate a web of deceit, psychological terror, and the thin line between life and death. As the visions grow more violent, Rachel and Mason are forced to confront a predator who may be hunting from beyond the grave, and uncover whether the deaths are merely coincidence— or if an unseen hand is orchestrating a deadly pattern. "Sleep with the Lights on" blends suspenseful thriller storytelling with a psychological narrative of vision, loss, and loyalty. The novel explores the unsettling interplay between medical transplantation, psychic perception, and criminal intrigue in a tense, pages‑turning journey.
