Books like The favorite sister by Jessica Knoll

When five hypersuccessful women agree to appear on a reality series set in New York City called Goal Diggers, the producers never expect the season will end in murder. The cast includes Brett—a tattooed, 27‑year‑old spin‑studio owner engaged to a girlfriend—whose meteoric success fuels jealousy. Her older sister and business partner Kelly navigates life as the “hanger‑on” while deferring to Brett’s protective role over a shocking secret. Stephanie, the first black cast member and a bestselling erotic novelist, faces a rift with Brett after a scandal involving her actor husband. Lauren, a start‑up darling whose drinking spirals out of control, provides a stark recovery narrative. And Jen, famous for her vegan food line, projects a holistic hippie image but proves ruthless off‑camera. The series spirals into intrigue as ambition clashes with loyalty, driving the cast toward a deadly outcome that threatens to expose their darkest truths.
