Books like The Blue Bistro by Elin Hilderbrand

When a six‑year stint at exotic resort hotels leaves Adrienne Dealey flat‑broke, she looks westward and finds herself in Nantucket, a rocky but promising new home. With little culinary experience and a desperate need for cash, she lands a position at the Blue Bistro, Nantucket’s hottest restaurant, thanks to its owner, Thatcher Smith. The Blue Bistro is at a crossroads: despite its success, the restaurant faces an impending shutdown and the chef, Fiona, keeps drawing everyone’s attention with her talent and mystery. As Adrienne inherits the role of front‑of‑house staff, she receives a crash course in the ropes of hospitality from both Thatcher and Fiona. A chemistry sparks instantly between Adrienne and Thatcher, while his fascination with Fiona complicates matters. Culinary ambition, romantic tension, and the looming finale of a beloved locale collide, forcing Adrienne to decide between staying to open a new chapter or continuing her pattern of fleeting starts. The story balances kitchen battles, interpersonal triangles, and the heart‑warming lure of unexpected love.
