Books like Fiancee Farce by Alexandria Bellefleur

Tansy Adams runs her family’s bookstore, but her love life has been a blank page—until she invents Gemma, a fabulously modeled fake girlfriend, to satisfy her stepfamily’s prying questions. The ruse is simple: pretend to date a charming stranger and avoid exposure. Coincidentally, the woman Tansy has fabricated, Gemma van Dalen, is an actual heiress to a publishing empire and the sole heir who can only inherit when she is married. Faced with a will that forces her into matrimony and Tansy’s need to keep her bookstore afloat, the two women accept the arrangement, announcing a fiancée engagement. Living the charade, sparks fly and the line between fiction and feeling blurs. Yet the scheming, powerful Van Dalen family will not hand over the company without a fight, threatening the couple’s budding romance and their future.
