In the midst of this upheaval, Yevgeny Volkovoy, the sister’s influential billionaire brother‑in‑law, steps forward. Determined not to let his potential heir be raised by strangers, Yevgeny insists on taking custody of the infant. As Ella wrestles with her reluctance and Yevgeny’s steadfast offer, a mutual attraction starts to burn between them, challenging their initial perceptions and encouraging both to reconsider what truly matters. This contemporary romance explores the complexities of surrogate motherhood, the ethical dilemmas of adoption, and the unexpected ways love can emerge even in the most fraught circumstances.
