Books like Dream friends by You Byun

A shy little girl yearns to find a real-life friend as wonderful as the one she plays with in her dreams. As her family moves from one small town to another, she dreams of a friend to make her laugh and share her adventures. One day, while playing with her stuffed animals, she meets a peculiar doll that seems to be her imaginary friend from her dreams. The doll turns out to be a kind, caring girl named Lila who has traveled with her family to the new town. Lila offers to be the girl's friend and shows her around her new home. Together, they have many adventures and make new friends of their own, including a boy named Tom. Lila teaches the girl to dream her own dreams and find her true friends in the imaginary world of her dreams and in the world around her. This book teaches children that sometimes the friends we make in the dream world can help us make the friends we really need in real life. It is a wonderful story about friendship and the ability to make new friends in a whole host of different ways.
