In "Mirror of Danger" (originally titled "Come Back, Lucy"), a seemingly ordinary gold‑framed mirror in Lucy’s attic serves as a gateway to the past. When she first looks, an image of a girl named Alice—who lived a hundred years earlier—appears beside her. Lucy learns she can step into Alexa’s world, spending time in a room that is a direct echo of history. While the initial adventures are intoxicating, the relationship quickly turns dark as Alice’s charming surface cracks to reveal a desire for power and control. Lucy must resist the allure of the past and the growing threat of being trapped forever beside the mirror’s sinister twin.
