Books like Nantucket sisters by Nancy Thayer

Maggie Drew and Emma Hudson meet on a Nantucket beach as girls and build a friendship that spans golden summers of sandcastles and shared dreams. Growing up, their differing backgrounds—Maggie's working‑class roots and Emma’s well‑heeled mother—never sever their bond. In adulthood, their lives diverge: Emma is concerned she will marry into the glittering world of Manhattan, while Maggie worries she will never experience a passionate romance. The arrival of Cameron Chadwick, a successful Wall Street broker, upends both women’s lives—he romances Emma in the city and takes sunsets with Maggie on the dunes. When both become pregnant, the strains on their friendship deepen, forcing them to confront difficult choices and hidden secrets. Together, they discover that while true love may be rare, true friendship is even rarer, and that the journey to fulfillment is full of unexpected twists and heartfelt turns.
