Books like When I Fall in Love by Lynn Kurland

Jennifer McKinnon is a 21st-century bookshelver with a penchant for old books and forgotten tales. Her daily routine is disrupted when she stumbles upon a mysterious antique bookstore, where the walls are lined with leather-bound volumes. Amid the chaos of her own world, Jennifer finds herself transported back in time to a 13th-century London. As she wanders through the cobblestone streets and narrow alleys of that medieval city, she encounters a knight of legendary prowess, waiting for the next great knight to be born. However, time has passed, and the knight has been waiting for 800 years. Jennifer, now a woman from the future, must navigate through the complexities of her own time and the world of the past. Her encounter with this knight, who has lived through the Crusades and fought in the Hundred Years War, brings forth a story of love, destiny, and the intricate tapestry of human history. Jennifer is torn between her current life and the life she could have been in the past. Her decision to accept the knight's offer to join him on his journey to become the great knight of legend or to stay in the 21st century, where she is bound by her own rules and limitations, will change everything she thought she knew about love, destiny, and the future. Jennifer's journey, through time and through love, is a tale of self-discovery, courage, and the power of the human spirit to transcend time and space.
