In this era of individualism, this novel shows that we are closer to each other than it seems. In this story full of humanity, we follow the story of three women with very different profiles. Smita lives in India and is condemned to a miserable existence. Giulia, a carefree Italian girl, works in her father's family business. Sarah, an ambitious Montreal lawyer, reconciles career and family life. The fate of each of them will be turned upside down dramatically and their courage will be put to the test. The author intersects these three stories with a poetic narration that smoothly weaves the links between these characters that nothing seemed to relate. This portrait reminds us that we are all united by the bond of hope.
