Books like Lighthouse bay by Kimberley Freeman

In 1901 a ship sinks off the coast of Lighthouse Bay, Australia. Isabella Winterbourne survives, having escaped a loveless marriage and the loss of her son, clutching a priceless gift meant for parliament. The treasure offers her a chance to break free from her husband’s oppressive family. A hundred years later, Libby Slater leaves her life in Paris to return to her hometown. Living in a cottage bought by her recently deceased lover, she seeks healing for a broken heart and a renewed relationship with her sister, Juliet. Twelve years after an unforgivable act, Juliet doubts whether she can trust Libby again. Against the backdrop of the oft‑referenced shipwreck victims, the novel follows both women as they learn that releasing the past is the key to moving forward. The story blends romance, contemporary women’s experiences, grief, and the enduring pull of an historic event.
