Books like The Faerie Ring by Kiki Hamilton

Set in 1871 London, The Faerie Ring follows Tiki, a young orphan who has carved out a precarious life for her family in a hidden refuge near Charing Cross Station. After stealing a ring that once kept the English monarchy and the realm of Faerie in peace, Tiki unwittingly sparks a conflict that could draw both worlds into war. A rebel faction of faeries seeks to break the treaty using dark magic, and Tiki’s unique mark ties her to their plans. Watching her from afar is Rieker, a fellow thief who suspects she stole the ring. While protecting her, Rieker harbors his own secrets. Their uneasy alliance is further complicated when Prince Leopold, the Queen’s son, becomes obsessed with uncovering the meaning of the mysterious mark on Tiki’s wrist. Together, orphan, prince, and thief must navigate a fragile treaty, hidden agendas, and the dangers of power to prevent an all‑out war between England and the Fey.
