Books like The Truce at Bakura by Kathy Tyers

With Darth Vader's funeral consumed by the Wookiee forest moon of Endor, the fledgling Alliance intercepts an urgent call from Bakura, a distant Imperial outpost at the edge of known space. The Ssi‑ruuk, reptilian invaders allied with the dead Emperor, sweep their way toward Imperial territory with plans for total domination. Princess Leia sees the crisis as a chance to turn the tide through diplomacy, while Luke Skywalker receives a vision from Obi‑Wan Kenobi urging him to Bakura or risk losing everything the Rebels have fought for. Facing a regime already weakened, the Bakura garrison harbors a desperate commander who will accept aid from any quarters, even the Rebels, against the mind‑controlling Ssi‑ruuk that enslaves humans to power their war machines. Together, Luke, Han Solo, and Leia must win the trust and cooperation of both Imperial and Bakuran forces, navigating a fragile cease‑fire granted by Imperial Governor Nereus amid the looming threat of treachery.
