Books like Bloodline Book Two by Kate Cary

Mary Seward believes she has left behind the darkness of Transylvania and the haunting of her fiancé, John Shaw. Back in England, however, she is plagued by terrible nightmares, an irrational fear of the dark, and the feeling that vampires lurk around every corner. When a strange virus begins to weaken her father and the patients at the clinic, Mary suspects that a far more sinister explanation than the doctors provide is at work. Quincey Harker, heir to Count Dracula’s bloodline, arrives in England, gaunt and pale, insisting he has renounced his evil heritage—at least in part because of his love for Mary. Yet Mary wonders whether he is truthful or playing a deadly game. Kate Cary continues her follow‑up to Bram Stoker’s original Dracula, exploring the nature of good and evil and the spaces where both coexist.
