Books like Man hunting by Jennifer Crusie

Kate Svenson is a successful, attractive businesswoman who has endured three failed engagements, sparking a deliberate plan to locate the perfect partner. Her strategy leads her to the Cabins golf resort, a Kentucky destination brimming with affluent, ambitious bachelors—exactly the type she desires. Among her prospects is Jake Templeton, a man who has abandoned ambition after a failed attempt to keep his distance. When a mix‑up in the resort’s swimming pool forces him to rescue Kate, he begins to doubt her reputation as a "femme fatale" and wonders whether their worlds could actually align. The story follows Kate’s corporate career and Jake’s discontent with ambition as they navigate a terrain of heart and hard choices: a realm where the word "proposal" takes on both personal and professional meaning.
