Books like Beautiful oblivion by Jamie McGuire

Camille "Cami" Camlin, a fiercely independent college student who runs the bar at The Red Door, has little time for anything beyond work and classes. On her first weekend off in almost a year, she finds herself alone at a table when Trenton Maddox walks in. Trenton, who left campus after an accident that left him with crushing guilt, now lives with his widower father and works at a nearby tattoo parlor to help with the bills. Their initial connection is strictly platonic, built over shared late nights and the hum of campus life. As Cami updates her students on campus gossip, Trenton offers a listening ear, and the two gradually grow closer. While the friendship remains wholesome, the lines begin to blur, especially when a Maddox boy falls in love with an unexpected confidante. The story explores how their bond evolves amid the backdrop of college life, family responsibilities, and the bustling bar scene.
