Books like The Order of Odd-Fish by James Kennedy
Jo Larouche has spent her whole life with Aunt Lily in the California desert, after a stranger left her at Lily’s doorstep with a strange note. When Lily throws a Christmas costume party, bizarre events force Jo and Lily into the fantastical realm of Eldritch City. There Jo learns her true identity and becomes part of the Order of Odd‑Fish, a comedic guild of knights who research seemingly useless information. Surrounded by glamorous cockroach butlers, pointless quests, obsolete weapons and eccentric festivals, Jo navigates the whimsical world while two villains threaten to control her fate. The adventure blends humor, fantasy and the peculiar charm of a young heroine’s discovery and destiny.
