Books like The hidden by Heather Graham

Estes Park, Colorado, once a peaceful town, hides the cold‑blooded murder of Nathan Kendall and his wife after the Civil War, a case that has eluded justice for a century. Historian Scarlet Barlow, now working at a museum‑attached bed‑and‑breakfast in the same building where the crime occurred, stumbles upon a connection between the past and present when her photographs of people who have been murdered echo the original Kendall tragedy. Struck by supernatural phenomena—statues of historical figures speaking to her—Scarlet finds herself drawn back to the FBI agent she once married, Diego McCullough, who has been assigned to the Krewe of Hunters, a special unit tackling unusual cases. Together they pursue the mysteries that threaten Scarlet’s safety while exploring the unresolved tensions of their split marriage.
