Books like As the Falcon Flies by Franklin W. Dixon

Frank and Joe Hardy travel to Alaska at the invitation of their parents’ friends, the Adenshaws, where they meet Kate, the hosts’ daughter and an avid falconer. Kate shows the brothers her prized peregrine falcon, which has become a focal point for an upcoming falconry competition in the United Arab Emirates. When a California falconer offers to buy Kate’s bird to enter it in the contest, tensions rise. Shortly after the offer, the peregrine goes missing, prompting suspicion that someone may have stolen or otherwise harmed it to secure a competitive advantage. The Hardy Boys must use their investigative skills to determine whether the falcon simply fled or was taken, and to resolve the mystery before the event. Despite their limited experience with birds of prey, Frank and Joe rely on logic and perseverance to crack the case, confronting obstacles and potential criminals in a high-stakes search that ultimately tests their detective abilities to their fullest.
