Books like Royal summons by Elizabeth Cadell

Ellen Berg has always known herself as a self‑made rancher in Arizona, but when she learns that her deceased mother belonged to a historic English lineage, she inherits a fifteenth‑century manor in England. Reluctantly, she leaves her familiar life behind and travels to the small village where the manor stands, only to find it under the care of her forgotten aunt, Lady Laura—a powerful figure connected to the Earl of Bosfield and once a formidable presence in Ellen’s family history. As Ellen grapples with the challenges of reclaiming her birthright, she encounters a handsome archaeology student who resides on the estate, stirring both intrigue and emotional conflict. Amidst the drama of inheritance, family rivalry, and budding love, Ellen embarks on an adventurous journey that tests her resolve and opens a new chapter in her life.
