Books like I don't want to be big by Dev Petty

In "I Don't Want to Be Big," a small frog refuses to grow tall, believing that staying little lets him enjoy simple pleasures—jumping in mud puddles with his best friend Pig and exploring the world one hop at a time. Rather than chasing the ability to jump high enough to see tree frogs, our small protagonist cherishes the comforts of being undersized, discovering that growing up can mean losing the freedom to play in puddles. The story offers a gentle, humorous take on childhood, growth, and the value of staying true to oneself.
