In the tumultuous times following the events of 'Star Wars: Attack of the Clones', the Republic is on the brink of collapse, and the Jedi are increasingly needed to stabilize the galaxy. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker have just returned from a mission on Ansion, a tiny but strategically important world. At the request of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, the Jedi Council has dispatched two Jedi Knights to negotiate with the Ansion nomads, who are seeking to expand beyond their ancestral lands. The mission is fraught with danger, as the nomads are wary of the Jedi and the powerful faction within the Republic. The Jedi must complete impossible tasks, befriending those who are wary, and influencing two great armies to reunite before it's too late. Set against the backdrop of a galaxy on the verge of collapse, 'The Approaching Storm' is a gripping tale of two Jedi Knights on a mission to bridge the political divisions and save the galaxy from irreparable damage.
