Books like Contentment by Warren W. Wiersbe

Commentary on the Gospel of John

Do you want to know God more and understand his relationship to his creation, the nations of the world, Israel, and today's believers? Of course you do, and now you can by walking with Warren Wiersbe through Psalms 1-89, Be Worshipful. Filled with poetry and laments to the Lord, the book's authors were people who knew dire circumstances as well as great joy. Messianic psalms point to the Lord Jesus Christ while others are psalms of praise and thanksgiving, affirmation and trust, not to mention psalms that call down God's wrath. In the book of Psalms, you will come to know God as both transcendent and immanent, far above and yet personally with us in our pilgrim journey -- the "God Most High" and "Immannuel -- God with us." Everything you learn about God and his creation will prepare your heart to Be Worshipful! - Back cover.
