Kerry O'Connell is found alone on a Caribbean shore after a devastating shipwreck leaves her the sole survivor of her crew. Orphaned and with a striking presence, she thrives among the island's lush landscapes, becoming a woman of both beauty and strength. When British privateer Nick Lawton arrives, Kerry draws his unrelenting interest. Although she initially rejects him, their connection heats up, stirring passions she never anticipated. Their burgeoning romance unfolds against a backdrop of intrigue and danger, as betrayals threaten to separate them. Kerry’s journey is further complicated by war’s chaos and the secret of her lineage.
