Books like A new beginning by Toni Anders

After the death of her godmother, Rowena inherits Cherry Cottage, a modest home tied to her childhood and the only connection she has with the enigmatic Leonora Lawton. Faced with the choice of selling the bequest to expand her successful children’s nursery, or taking a bold step into the unknown by moving to the distant Chocolate Box Cottage, Rowena grapples with responsibility, family, and her own aspirations. The decision is further complicated by Kavan Reagan, an attractive neighbour who has long coveted the cottage for himself. His antagonism forces Rowena to confront not only external pressures but also her own doubts and desires, leading to a pivotal moment of self‑redefinition. Through humor and heartfelt moments, the novel explores themes of inheritance, succession, and the complex bonds that exist between neighbours and the places they call home.
