Books like Your Wish Is My Command by Stephanie Bancroft

Ladden Sanderson’s antiques shop is shaken by a mysterious tremor after he rubs a brass teapot, scattering his prized exotic carpet and disrupting the quiet routine of his business. In the aftermath, Ladden hopes to intrigue designer Jasmine Crowne with the rescued carpet, yet his true ambition is far more personal: he longs for Jasmine’s affection. Though they have shared a three‑year friendship, Jasmine now feels an unexpected surge of sensuality as Ladden’s presence stirs her in the dusty shop. With questions about friendship, longing, and the possibility of magic looming, the novel explores how ordinary objects can trigger extraordinary emotions. Readers will follow Ladden and Jasmine as they navigate their shifting feelings, the unpredictable force of the teapot, and the possibility that an old family relic holds more than just aesthetic value.
