Books like Dear Rita by Simona Taylor

Rita Steadman, a razor‑sharp advice columnist, is known for her no‑nonsense, anti‑love counsel—especially when a client’s letter hints at a man who could be a nightmare. The letter, however, turns out to be about Dorian Black, a impeccably dressed, confident divorce lawyer whose reputation for cutting edge arguments sets a clear warning. Yet Rita finds herself irresistibly drawn to his striking presence and elusive charm. Their intellectual sparring, fraught with sharp humor and underlying attraction, rekindles a connection that neither can ignore. As their professional and personal worlds collide, they must confront expectations about gender, race, and love, questioning whether the chemistry that sparks in the courtroom can ignite in the heart. Set against the backdrop of a modern, racially diverse legal environment, "Dear Rita" blends humor, romance, and thoughtful commentary on the complexities of relationships in contemporary society.
