Books like Beyond This Horizon by Robert A. Heinlein

Beyond This Horizon envisions a society where genetic engineering has created an elite lineage of people immune to illness, over a century in age, and physically superior. Centuries of peace, no hate, no disease, no hunger, no war remain only a memory in history books. The protagonist, Hamilton Felix, is the culmination of a star line of leading geneticists—his last thirty ancestors were selected for optimum traits. While the rest of humanity lives comfortably, Hamilton feels a growing sense of ennui and questions the necessity of humanity’s continued existence. A clandestine group of revolutionaries, dissatisfied with the stagnation of this perfect world, sees in Hamilton a tool to revive political activity. Their scheme—to use his superbe abilities to lead a “glorious revolution”—trickles in the story, setting the stage for a conflict between utopian ideals and the human drive for change.
