When a Category Four hurricane wreaks havoc on Florida’s west coast, reefs shift and new wrecks appear. A mysterious old woman visits Doc Ford’s lab with a haunting tale: sixty years earlier, a loved one vanished while rendezvousing with a German submarine off Florida’s coast. She believes he was being blackmailed and now thinks the storm offers a chance to prove his innocence by locating the wreck of his boat—and the truth hidden within. Intrigued, Ford agrees to dig beneath the turbulent waters, setting in motion a chain of events that will alter his life forever. As he uncovers the wreck, he learns it holds more than just relics; other men seek its secrets and will stop at nothing to obtain them. In addition, the woman herself may not be as she appears. A thriller of intensity, "Dark Light" explores intrigue, mystery, and the hidden depths of Florida’s coast.
