Books like Forget tomorrow by Pintip Dunn

When 17‑year‑old Callie discovers a vision of the future that predicts she will kill her younger sister, she is immediately arrested and sent to a special prison for those members of society deemed likely to commit crimes. Determined to change her destiny, Callie escapes the government‑run facility and embarks on a dangerous, fast‑paced journey through New York City, trying to outwit law‑enforcement officials and alter the course of her own future. The novel blends science‑fiction concepts such as predictive vision with a coming‑of‑age tale of adolescence, sibling bonds, and the ethical limits of a society that tries to predetermine behavior. Set against a contemporary urban backdrop, it follows Callie as she navigates threats to her safety, her emerging sense of autonomy, and the urgent desire to protect her sister from a fate that may or may not be inevitable.
