Books like Origin in Death by Nora Roberts

In the year 2059, New York City’s police force redefines crime-solving with advanced technology. Detective Eve Dallas and partner Delia Peabody are called to the Wilfred B. Icove Center for Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery, where the renowned surgeon has been found dead, stabbed to death in his own office. The pristine crime scene and a security recording of a beautiful woman leaving the building raise suspicion that a professional killer is at work. Dallas, who has always trusted Dr. Icove’s spotless record, doubts the sincerity of the surgeon’s family and suspects that his son, the new chief surgeon, may be involved. As the investigation deepens, Dallas also confronts the rumored “Dr. Perfect” and her husband Roarke, uncovering a dangerous pursuit of perfection that threatens the limits of science and human morality.
