Books like Summer house by Nancy Thayer

Charlotte Wheelwright, after years of following shifting whims, finally finds her niche as the proprietor of an organic gardening business on Nantucket. The venture rests on the generous donation by her spry grandmother, Nona, who gives Charlotte a plot on the family’s seaside compound. While Charlotte’s talent with plants yields success, deepening relationships—particularly with handsome neighbor Coop—presents new challenges. Nona’s favoritism fuels tension among the Wheelwrights, who fear Charlotte may inherit the entire estate. The arrival of the summer pilgrimage to the family homestead brings estranged clan members, unexpected news, and the looming family meeting where Nona's pronouncements set the tone. Amidst the island’s summer heat, three women—Charlotte, Nona, and Helen (Charlotte’s mother, who left her own ambitions to fit in with the Wheelwrights)—must confront betrayals, ambitions, and the roads not taken. As they revisit past loves and choices, they discover that the truth they sought may have been close at hand all along.
