Books like Mind Your Own Business by Lutishia Lovely

Bianca Livingston, fresh from culinary school and a romantic escapade in Paris, returns to Los Angeles determined to steer the family restaurant, Taste of Soul, into a new West Coast chapter. Her brother Jefferson shares the ambition, but their long‑standing rivalry hovers like a simmering heat. With parents insisting on a marriage of convenience for Bianca and a secret love threatening to disrupt Jefferson’s life, the siblings must also contend with meddling cousin Toussaint and the reemergence of a former enemy intent on undermining the Livingston empire. As company money begins to vanish, the brothers realize that running a business is difficult when no one can mind their own business matters. Set against the vibrant culinary scene of Los Angeles, the novel explores themes of ambition, family loyalty, and contemporary romance within the African‑American business community.
