Books like The delusion by Laura Gallier

Owen, a typical high‑school senior, has always dismissed the supernatural. One day, a mysterious drink from an abandoned well opens his eyes to unseen shackles and unearthly beings. As he investigates, he realizes these forces may be behind a disturbing rise in suicide among his peers. Confronting the dark entities and grappling with questions of good and evil, Owen must decide whether to fight the unseen menace or succumb to its influence. Set in a contemporary high‑school environment, the novel blends Christian themes with elements of demonology and angels. It explores the tension between faith and doubt, and the moral challenges faced by young people when confronted with powerful, malevolent forces. Through Owen’s journey, the story examines the desperate search for meaning and the struggle against despair that can grip a school community.
