Books like The last jihad by Joel C. Rosenberg

Jon Bennett rises from a leading Wall Street strategist to a senior White House adviser, only to find himself confronting an escalating threat of Iraqi terrorism. Under Saddam Hussein’s direction, Iraqi operators aim to assassinate the U.S. President and wreak havoc across major cities. Bennett and his partner, Erin McCoy, launch a covert project—a billion‑dollar oil pact off Gaza’s coast—to forge a critical Arab‑Israeli coalition that could prevent widespread devastation. Their mission, however, is jeopardised when Israeli commandos intercept an Iraqi Scud missile, recover a nuclear warhead, and reveal an imminent attack on Washington, New York, and Tel Aviv. Faced with an ultimatum from Israel’s Prime Minister to eliminate Baghdad within an hour, Bennett and McCoy must navigate political intrigue, international alliances, and the ticking clock to avert global catastrophe.
