Books like A midsummer dream by Janet Thomas

Victoria Williams is wielding her camera on the rugged cliffs of Cornwall when she encounters Bron Macdonald, a filmmaker whose passion for capturing local legends is rivaled only by his keen eye for art. Their collaboration begins as a mutual respect for each other’s crafts—a blend of Wisconsin’s wildlife photography and the storytelling power of film. As they work together on an old Cornish legend, Victoria’s professional integrity is challenged by a jealous competitor who questions her motives. The partnership with Bron faces sudden obstacles, but each hurdle is eventually overcome, bringing them closer together. Yet the relationship is complicated by Victoria’s personal life, particularly her loyalty to her sister. As the pull between her sister’s expectations and her emerging love for Bron grows stronger, Victoria must decide the path she will choose. The novel explores the intertwining of passion for art, the confrontation of personal values, and the difficulty of deciding where one’s loyalty truly lies.
