Books like Damien by Jacquelyn Frank

Damien, as one of the most powerful Nightwalkers, has long embraced the pleasures of immortal life—from councils with world leaders to decadent adventures. Exhausted by such pursuits, he turns his strength toward protecting his kind. A war between human necromancers and the Nightwalkers escalates when the monsters kidnap Syreena, the Lycanthrope Princess. Damien hunts them down, rescues Syreena, and finds himself drawn to her in a way no one else has. Syreena, raised in a cloistered environment that forbids attachments, is suddenly confronted with a love that thrives on desire and danger. Their connection, immediate and intoxicating, could undermine the Nightwalkers' unity and empower their foes. Together they must confront a terrifying and relentless enemy while navigating a love that feels both inevitable and forbidden.
