Books like I'll never write my memoirs by Grace Jones
In "I'll Never Write My Memoirs," Grace Jones offers an unvarnished look at her life and career, tracing her rise from a Jamaican upbringing to becoming an international supermodel in the 1970s. She details the bold artistic choices that shaped her as a singer, dancer, and revolutionary figure in New York’s nightclub scene, where she emerged as a disco queen and celebrated icon for LGBTQ audiences. The memoir also covers her forays into film, notably her roles in "Conan the Destroyer" and "A View to a Kill," and her ongoing creative evolution into house, reggae, and electronica. With sixteen full‑color photographs, Jones reflects on the personal philosophies and challenges that have driven her enduring influence in music, fashion, and performance.
