Books like Fangs of evil by Ellen Steiber

The story unfolds in the charming but terrifying Devonshire countryside of nineteenth-century England. The serene beauty of the countryside is marred by the relentless, unknown killer who has been terrorizing the townspeople. This killer is described as inhuman, causing fear and uncertainty among the villagers. Twelve-year-old Elizabeth, considered strange due to her love for cats, finds herself at the center of the mystery when she is suspected of being involved. The townspeople, who are plagued by the fear of the killer, begin to suspect Elizabeth and her father, James. Elizabeth's friend, Thomas, becomes the primary suspect, leading to a series of events that test the bond between Elizabeth and her family. The story takes a turn when Elizabeth's family finds a mysterious manuscript that reveals a connection to the killer and a way to stop them. Elizabeth's love for cats and her ability to draw them are key tools in the fight against the killer. The townspeople, driven by superstition, fear, and superstition, struggle to grasp the true nature of the killer. Elizabeth's love for Thomas and her determination to protect them from the killer are central to the story. The story culminates in a dramatic confrontation between the townspeople, Elizabeth, and Thomas, where the true identity of the killer is revealed, and the townspeople finally gain the courage to confront the killer. The book is a chilling horror story that explores themes of superstition, fear, and the power of love and friendship.
