Books like Fireborn by David Dalglish

The Skyborn twins, Bree and Kael, know the sting of invasion: their island's people have been depopulated, their Seraphim army disbanded, and their royal family trapped in a tyrant's prison. As the rebellion stirs from the ashes of their homeland, Bree is called upon to become its Phoenix, a living emblem of resistance to Center’s oppression. Meanwhile, Kael must seek out Johan, the prophetic figure of a doomsday cult, and convince him to turn his followers from the path of destruction to the side of hope. If either fails, the fragile spark of rebellion extinguishes with them. With the world on the brink, their quests force the Skyborn twins to confront the cost of leadership, the shadows of political corruption, and the brave ascent of young orphans who must rise to leadership in turbulent times. This tale blends fantasy, coming‑of‑age stakes, and insurgent rebellion into a narrative about how hope can still flare in the darkest of ages.
