Books like November 9 by Colleen Hoover

Fallon, a young woman preparing to leave Los Angeles for a new life across the country, crosses paths one day with Ben, a budding novelist seeking fresh inspiration. Their spontaneous encounter on the eve of her move turns into a single, intense day together that leaves Ben captivated and provides the narrative fuel for his forthcoming book. Over time, Fallon and Ben find themselves drawn back together on the same date each year, even as they pursue separate lives and relationships. Their repeated meetings force both to confront the blurry line between reality and fiction, raising questions about the authenticity of Ben’s story and the fragility of their own feelings. The novel follows their evolving connection, probing whether love can persist beyond the imagined plot twists that both characters fear may ultimately lead to heartbreak.
