Books like Forever his by Colleen Faulkner

She pledged her innocent heart to a rugged and dangerous half-breed... Raised on his father's Tidewater plantation and educated to be a gentleman, Harrison De Nay had captured sixteen-year-old Leah Tanner's heart with gentle words and tender passion. They'd pledged their love, planned to marry. Until cruel fate thrust them apart. Now, eight years later, as the colonies fought for freedom in a war that pitted brother against brother and tribe against tribe, Leah desperately needed his help in her search for her kidnapped child. She found Harrison living among the Shawnee -- an unforgiving stranger of steely strength and smoldering anger. Gazing into the relentless depths of his dark eyes, Leah was stunned by the powerful hunger that still bound them. The passion that ignited the smoldering embers of desire into savage fury would transform a perilous mission into a wild journey of the heart, as Leah risked life itself to seize her destiny -- with the only man she would ever love!
