Books like Runaways by Christopher Golden

When their supervillain parents die, quintuple teens Nico, Karolina, Gert, Chase and Molly go underground. They take refuge in an abandoned hospital and attempt to reclaim normal lives, all while dealing with the remnants of their parents’ former coven. Their quest to rescue a girl from a human sacrifice soon attracts a group of punks wearing the Pride mask, forcing the runaways to confront both danger and the lingering influence of their villainous legacy. As they navigate the shadows of Los Angeles, the runaways must balance their new aim of peace with the looming threat of the city’s organized crime and superhero factions, learning that with great power, responsibility and protection come unpredictable dangers. The story blends elements of adventure, organized crime intrigue, and the dual nature of heroes and villains in a contemporary setting.
