Books like Born To Be Wild by Catherine Coulter

Mary Lisa Beverly, the star of the popular daytime drama Born to Be Wild, has just earned her third Daytime Emmy for portraying Sunday Cavendish. LIVING in the upscale gated community known as the Colony in Malibu, she enjoys a colourful circle of friends, each as quirky as she is. But her champagne‑drinking life turns tense when a mysterious plot to end her life unfolds. The investigation takes her back to her roots in Goddard Bay, Oregon, where her family dynamics include a supportive father, a challenging mother, and two eccentric sisters. In Goddard Bay, she is drawn into a web of crime involving District Attorney John Goddard and Chief of Police Jack Wolf. Even her best friends—Lou Lou Bollinger and Elizabeth Fargas—find themselves entangled in the baffling attempts on her life, leading to unexpected twists. Balancing humor with suspense, the novel follows Mary Lisa’s efforts to protect herself and navigate the complicated relationships that define her life, both on the soap‑opera set and off the screen.
