Books like Magic and Macaroons by Bailey Cates

Hollywood’s latest Revolutionary War film lands in Savannah’s historic district, turning the city into a set. Katie Lightfoot, a baker who wields wonder, and her coven, the Spellbook Club, pause their spells to watch the production. Katie’s boyfriend, Declan, a firefighter, serves as on‑set security, and one of the witches lands an extra role. As the crew’s catering plans go awry, the Honeybee Bakery steps in, using their culinary magic to keep the hungry filmmakers fed. When the fixer’s assignment is disrupted and a psychic forewarns Katie of a impending killer, the baker and her fellow witches scramble to unravel the mystery, racing against time before another victim lands in the cutting room. Set against Savannah’s historic backdrop and infused with baking, witches, and intrigue, this tale blends culinary charm with a whodunnit in a spell‑binding way.
