Books like A plain malice by Amanda Flower

Appleseed Creek’s new bishop believes boosting tourism will lift the struggling local economy. He invites Blue Suede Tours from Mississippi and asks the Amish community to host the visitors. The Troyer family, owners of a dairy farm, agrees to offer a traditional milking demonstration. During the tasting, two Mississippians die, and the local police chief suspects foul play. The chief pinpoints Timothy Troyer’s father as a prime suspect, intensifying scrutiny on the family. Computer specialist Chloe Humphrey boards the tour bus as an undercover guide, determined to prove her boyfriend’s father—and the Troyers—cleansed of guilt. As the investigation unfolds, Chloe and Timothy’s relationship faces strain. Their efforts to solve the crime may either bring them closer together or lead to a final tear‑apart.
