Books like Alice Cooper, golf monster by Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper’s "Golf Monster" is a tell‑all memoir that traces his rise from a rebellious teenage performer to one of rock’s enduring icons, while detailing his lifelong love of golf and the ways the sport helped him overcome alcohol addiction. Drawing on encounters with fellow musicians, entertainers, and golfing greats, the book offers humorous and heartfelt reflections on both the music industry and the green. He discusses how a casual invitation to play golf sparked a lifelong passion, transforming him from a regular golfer into a serious Pro Am competitor and one of the most celebrated celebrity golfers. With candid admissions of his own demons—altogether with anecdotes from friends like Led Zeppelin, the Doors, John Daly and Tiger Woods—Cooper shares the lessons he learned through the game and how it shaped his personal and professional life. A unique blend of music biography and sports memoir, "Golf Monster" provides insight into the life of a rock legend whose victories on the stage and on the fairway define his legacy.
